02/01/2007 - GPX Surveys purchased the new Trimble R8 GNSS system from Cansel and in doing so, became the first Canadian seismic survey company to utilize this new system. In marginal survey conditions, the basic RTK issues are re-acquisition, re-initialization times, reliable ambiguity resolution and, of course, accuracy. The Trimble R8 GNSS addresses these issues and enables GPX Surveys to deliver an efficient and consistent survey product to its clients.
