Originally based in the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, GPX Surveys moved its offices in the spring of 1999. Now operating in the town of Bowden, one hour north of Calgary on highway 2, GPX has maintained it's position as a leader in the use of GPS for seismic survey in the oil and gas sector. In 1993 we became the first Canadian company to supply real time GPS technology to the seismic industry. Since that

time, GPS based surveys have become the industry standard and GPX Surveys continues to play a leadership role. One of the first Canadian companies to import GIS technology, GPX has continued to use the latest available equipment in its day-to-day operations. Our extensive experience in the areas of GPS and GIS has maintained our position on the cutting edge of technological developments.

In addition to Real-Time Differentiate equipment, the company operates a Community Base Station which enables us to provide various clients with base station files for post processing and access maps (achieving five meter accuracy) of individual prospects. Our mapping capabilities are expected to be used by more clients in the future as a pre-planning tool. GPX can also respond to requests for base station files and

maps for use by professionals in other industries such as lands and forests, mining, and environmental groups.

We are an innovative company in taking new and existing technology and adapting it for our own use. We have become a leader in the integration of barometric pressure with GPS technology. It has allowed for complete GPS coverage under varying tree canopies on projects in western Canada and east Texas.

GPX Surveys has carried out seismic survey programs extensively throughout North America as well as internationally in the United Kingdom, Africa, and Central America. Our experience is not only limited to land surveys, but includes lake surveys as well.
